Teapot Ensemble of Australia

Be prepared to be shaken, stirred and tea-totalled! Aurally and visually, the Teapot Ensemble of Australia draws you into a unique musical world as, together with some surprise special guests, they unleash the haunting sounds of the humble teapot.

Since the Teapot Ensemble of Australia’s world premiere garden party, shared with international french horn maestro Barry Tuckwell and the famous Flinders String Quartet, the group has done their best to give this unlikely instrument the respect it deserves. Spouting a repertoire that pours out a fresh decoction of baroque, classical, modern, and original compositions, this Famous Spiegeltent performance features works by Beethoven, Telemann and Reich alongside popular favourites.
