Spinifex Gum ~ Australian Song feature!

It's been a while since I've recommended anything australian of late, but gotta love the australian music scene.

The haunting voices of Spinifex Gum are worth a listen.


A project that picked up in 2015, by Felix Riebl of the Cat Empire when he stayed with the Yindjibarndi community, indigenous Australia. The songs features a brilliantly composed choir as well as other well known Aussies.

it's been a while since ive listened to anything new,
and these tunes with the acoustic rhythm alongside echo of vocals bring to mind running freely in a forest for some reason.

i don't usually promote anything of the anime-like. but I came across this song which is interesting.
didn't bother to delve too deeply into finding out whether the song voice is actually a synthesized one. but.....it presents an interesting mix.

actually. coming back to it.  i did do some research.
song used "Vocaloid"  - "The software enables users to synthesize singing by typing in lyrics and melody. It uses synthesizing technology with specially recorded vocals of voice actors or singers. To create a song, the user must input the melody and lyrics"
