Celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Melbourne International Festival of Brass in 2012, two of the world’s great brass soloists join the MSO for this unique concert experience. Framing the classic concertos for the horn and tuba are the brilliant,
folksong-inspired orchestral variations by Kodály and the stirring Enigma Variations by Elgar, crowned by the famous adagio Nimrod. Presented in collaboration with the Melbourne International Festival of Brass.
