SPRING BREAK - Part 2

Grand Canyon!
(Part 1 - Death Valley, Part 3 - Vegas)

i choose the West Rim which was beautiful! we did some hiking, climbing, slipping, picture snapping .the people that went to the south unforunately were stuck in a snow storm XD
we managed to see a bit of snow falling just at the start of our trip, but it warmed up really quickly

gah. we had to leave the hotel at 5.45am today. SO EARLY! grr, the tour should really outline this earlier. anyways. first stop was hoover dam, we watched a documentary on the way there about the building of it. 100+ people died making this, and back in the people just abseiled down into the cliffs and blew it up with dynomite 0_0 many of them were apart of the circus in their previous jobs. big dam, impressive. pretty ride down
what vegas looks like at night, unfortunately i didn't go up an observation deck,
we ran out of time, its a postcard lewl

eagle point! can you see why its called that?

the sky walk top left, extra $32, no idea why you would want to go, considering where we went there were no fences, and you can literally tip over the edge into the canyon, it was all native land and pretty much untouched, besides a random chinese resturant (more like tuckshop) where we had lunch
