DRUMHELLER!!!!!

so what is Drumheller, Alberta, Canada famous for?one word: DINOSAURS!
its one of the world's best and largest dinosaur museum. the amount of fossils in drumheller is astonishing. how in the world did they all get washed up here. very interesting.

lewl. you can measure yourself and see where you weigh up in terms of this ancient beasts. I'm just heavier than a beaver, how embarrassing. the kid that got on after me, got the same result as me -.=
sabertooh and mammoth
a 100 million year old fish species. i thought it was a machine but it was real 0_0
i dont get it. up close looks like a dinosaur and on the bottom it had a gruesome mouth thing of a sting ray.ewwww
say..
RAWR!
this was discovered by two high school kids that went wishing on day 0_0 they thought they came across some fancy rock when they started chipping. amazin!

what the locals dig into...

First stop of the day Tim Hortons, famous in the area for their cheap coffe and steeped tea. The tea was good. They had this promotion thingy, where you roll up the rim of the cup to see if you win a car. I win coffee instead =P teenburger @ A&W, yummy. apparently Alberta the province where i'm staying has the best beef in the world? says the locals. so i had to try something and they say even if you don't try steak a burger will do. so i did. and hmm..it was REALLY GOOD! lol photo courtesy of dailysandwich.tumblr.com coz my camera battery died. Ice Wine, rare and speciality of Canada because their grapes are frozen. i didnt try this but i hear its really good. photo courtesy of schiller-wine blogger also this is not food related but the petrol station Co-op, HAS PEOPLE THAT FILL UP FOR YOU!!! say what!?!??! its negative 4-20 degrees outside and they have people filling up your tank for you 0_0. you just have to say half tank or full tank. The lady was really nice and also washed all our windows for us wow that is service....

an exhibit about politics, i didn't get it, but it was pretty, the desk was on the ceiling and upside down, like the original and best willy wonka chocolate factory movie
friendly transit
inside the main shopping centre.
the entire CBD is connected via skywalks! so its like a mini maze that tunnels above and cuts through all the buildings (that aren't heritage)
it's beacuse its so cold, so people stay indoors as much as they can.

neat art corner, upstairs = gallerys and selling of independent work
downstairs = classes and studios
