this sat the 30th....
so.. hehe oops my 8 minute study break just turned into a 50min study break >.>
how did that happen..
i woke up at 1PM!! 0___0
wondered into the kitchen and wheeeeeee thank you to the Koreans for cooking up an awesome lunch..well breakfast for me to taste. dumplings, rice cakes, pancake thingy, ice cream... mmmmmmmmmmmm....... if only i could speak korean and participate in your lively conversations.
the queens/dutch/orange party was last night, which was loads of fun. Sadly i cannot upload photos due to the ridiculously funny embarrassing poses and random snaps i took of people. but here are a few.
i forget the origin of queens day , but its a very dutch thing. and for a whole 24hours + everyone dress from head to toe in orange, as the queen's surname sounds like the word orange commemorating the bday of the queen. . or something like that.

"On April 30, the Dutch celebrate Koninginnedag ("Queen's Day"), a national holiday to commemorate the birthday of the country's (former) Queen. It is by far the most widely celebrated holiday in the Netherlands. Amsterdam festivities in particular rival those of Mardi Gras in New Orleans or New Year's Eve in New York City. As such, Amsterdam is packed to the gills on April 30, welcoming up to two million party-going visitors."
OH! went on a hike, for the randomness of it, as the idea popped up due to the fact it was still bright outside 7.45pm.
didn't leave til 8.30pm...but totally worth it!!! Stumbled up and slipped down the hills behind ihouse for tour hours 0____0
met some rumblings in the bushes, saw incredible views, discovered the SWING! and conversed with an intellectual traveler. Randomly out of now where in the hills, Emmanuel comes across Travis and his girlfriend, tent pitched and camp fire going. WOW. so interesting.
heard his story and his eternal connection with the universe. very friendly person.
