Richmond Trip

copy paste from program office lewl me lazzzy

We will first arrive at the West County Wastewater District (WCWD) Richmond treatment facility site. Don’t be mistaken, this is no ordinary waste treatment site, this site creates 35% of its energy through solar power, and this project is one of the largest of its kind in the USA.

After the tour, we’ll make our way to Mira Vista Golf Club, where all participants will be treated to a lunch with the Richmond Rotary Club (http://www.richmondcarotary.org/). After this nice treat at about 1:30 pm, we will meet up with Michelle Itagaki of the Richmond Convention & Visitors Bureau. She will lead us on a quick visit to a historical Ford assembly plant and to the SS Red Oak Victory Ship. After that, our tour will end at the Richmond Museum of History, but not before we all have a chance to take a tour of the museum.

they have this saying:

“The Four-Way Test of the things we think, say or do”:

1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all Concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
