week 11 has come and gone

it started out Sunday where i won a raffle ticket to watch Alvin Ailey

and we got pretty good seats! really close to the stage on the left tierssay hello to my korean friend. when asked what she was reading by the people in front of us, it was a book about "successful marriage" .. lol
it seems a lot of the korean girls are into this kinda reading material / discussion in general

"do they talk about marriage a lot in australia?" - korean boy
"..well...not really." - me

hmm...did i give a false impression? or am i just out of this marriage circle all together?
maybe i am. since my friends are getting married now and popping out kids.

i have to admit. one of THE best dance performances i've ever seen..EVER!

each afternoon this week there has been a performance on sproul plaza from "Movement" a dance group of berkeley. they are quite good! i wish i was able to catch the swing dance, those over the head jumps where impressive!
