Last day of winter....

I'm sure you've probably read heaps of facebook and twitter updates of how awesome this weekend weather is.. but here is mine :P

Saturday.

. Lunch at new restaurant on 100 Kingsway, look out for this sign, coz i didn't take any photos.


Waya Japanese owned by non-Japanese people hahaa.
A few notes_
- the decor is nice, especially how they have separate general dining and booth dinning for more privacy.
- booth dining remind me of acmi's mediatheque sections
- lighting decent during day. not sure how it will be at night but im guessing dim
- coloured cushion-chair-padding is nice but not japanese

Very nice food. tad salty and oily though.
Hand cut chips appear double fried and calamari is best!.. oh wait.no LEMON TART! was best =]
. drove a full car of pretty ladies down to this lunch. was quite an experience. Had no idea what brands of merchandise they were talking about and I'm clueless about aesthetics.  I really need to hang around girlfriends more often.. sigh.

. off to Monica's birthday dinner at Maedaya with Sushi birthday cake!! wow.

. There wasn't enough choice for dinner mains, but plenty of random little dishes to order
. hmmm...go for the novelty of sushi birthday cake and ipad table ordering, but that's about it
. super friendly staff
. sang happy birthday to two other celebrates that night.
