What should I have done on my rostered day of?
sleep.
What did I do instead?
- missed my train to meet up with friends in the city. ...i even ran to the station -.-"
- caught two exhibitions:
ACMI's Hollywood Costume Exhibition
Highlight: Layout of the exhibition. The screens with the interviews of
the costume designers, actors and directors was very crisp. Content was
most interesting. Also tagging along to the tour group to which we
didn't pay for was worth it :P
It was very clever to have projected sketch book contents and
clippings of the movies onto the plain white boards spread throughout
the exhibition. Digital era. Saves so much space! |
*The Importance of Being Earnest*
Great theater!! Caught it when it was in Melb. |
Exhibiton no.2 :
The Extraordinary Shapes of Geoffrey Rush
I personally like this smaller , free exhibition better. Purely because it focuses only on one indidivudal and tells of his life story, from childhood inspiration, to college years to big screen success. Damn, Geoffrey Rush is just incredible :D
Did you know? Mr. Rush is one of the few people that have won all three awards! Oscar, Emmy and Tony's!!
-delved into politics over
Pepper Lunch
- caught up with high school mates for dinner
...ended the night , just as I started. totally
pooped.
