He is an Australian from Perth, I know him as an illustrator but his works are much more boarder than than. One of my favs = his book The Arrival. A must buy. 100% picture book, no words, but the content just screams of ridiculous amount of effort; themes such as suffering, pain, love, family, travel, invention etc etc.
