University College is a residential college, affiliated with the University of Melbourne. The College provides accommodation for students studying at the University and for some students studying at nearby tertiary institutions.
Expressions of interest are sought from graduates for the position of resident tutor for the 2011 academic year. The applicant must be tertiary graduate, preferably, undertaking postgraduate study. Experience in university tutoring is desirable.
Resident Tutors are required to live in the College, and in addition to tutoring responsibilities, are required to be active in the cultural and social activities of the College community and to be concerned with the general well-being of our students. Tutors will be asked to accept responsibilities as a duty tutor on a rostered basis.
