when i was a kid..they appealed to me heaps
every time we went to the shops
i would ask/beg for a two dollar coin
so i could get myself a ring
from those kiddy suprise vendy machine thingy

design still appeals to me

an ONION RING!!
wah!!

This is a locket ring made using the techniques chasing/repousse, and nitric etching. I had a lot of fun making this ring, and its really lightweight and wearable. Hinges are always a pain in the butt, but this one came out flawless first time. It was my final project in Studio IV: Surfaces, but the teacher didnt really get the "onion ring" deal, because I don't think english is her first language.

wah.. interesting choice....
The female body is a beautiful thing, and now you can show it off without offending your boss. This classy and minimalistic ring is completely hand-constructed by me with polymer clay and many many coats of gloss, giving it a very ceramic appearance. This particular ring is a size 8. I will start making them with a different band that adjusts to different sized fingers. One of my favorite pieces.
