Casual observers required to count golf balls relating to a piece of litigation in the County Court. Law students may benefit from the experience, but any applicants are welcome. You may be required to give evidence regarding your obeservations between 22 June 2009 and 26 June 2009.

Off the Kerb has a volunteer position available for a Gallery Intern working every Thursday 12.30pm to 6pm.

This is a 6 month internship, where you will be working directly with the Director in managing the daily running of the gallery and arranging the year's calendar. You will learn the daily administrative activities of an artist run space as well as the crucial tasks of liaising with artists and buyers. At the end of 6 months there is the possibility of moving into the Gallery Assistant position, where you will be given the opportunity to curate shows or lead projects.

Reporting to the Director your responsibilities will include:

Working on Thursdays 12.30pm to 6pm
Front of house reception, telephone and visitors
Office administration (filing, emailing etc)
Assisting in hanging shows
Gallery maintenance
Assisting on Opening Nights (one Friday a month 6pm - 9pm)

To be successful in this role, you are likely to possess the following:

A passion for independent, contemporary art
A strong work ethic and a desire to be part of an experimental ARI
Have knowledge of basic office administrative tasks

Off the Kerb offers the necessary training and support necessary for you to grow as an artist, curator or gallery assistant. We have a lot of fun, but at the same time are very responsible with a high work ethic to make this ARI grow.

Yes, you need to drive a minimum amount of 20 km per day (100km per week/ 400km per month) following your daily driving patterns. This is required for the duration of a campaign.
