2 months on
so wow it has been a full two months since my move into the CBD
and most of it has been a highlight.
walking around and wandering all the nooks and crannies, discovering new places
and with thanks to eventbrite, seeing things i havent seen before, hearing stories, learning, forever curious
discovered
- an independent institution trying to be cutting edge introducing VR, AR courses (though personally i don't think studying there may be any more advantageous than at RMIT *shrugs* or JMC)
- attended pre pregnancy info session and learnt a whole lot about nutrition
- free botanical garden tours (AMAZING! so worth 1.5hours of your time, much more left for me to explore)
- cultural festivals
- 24 hour ACMI the clock! truly magnificent piece of work
- loitering until shopping centre closes due to no air con at my place
- mystery shopping
- discount movies
- learnt about sustainability and edible bugs! ate one myself. hmmm crickets are nutritious!
- the CBD free wifi is pretty decent for hosting a video call without dropping out :P
- asian grocery stores stock japanese kitkats ive never seen before
- coles sells $2 roast chicken close to midnight
- attended free physio classes
- learnt about the multiple layers of yoga
- free music concerts!
- grad expos, melb uni has a new school of government course. no idea what you would learn there really XD considering an arts degree could get you into government *shrugs*
- research antartica trips . so dang expensive
and the list goes on!
only one month left and yet to explore docklands proper
and most of it has been a highlight.
