so yes another trip up north to visit friends, but really to celebrate my sister's birthday with a compromise on location. Since canberra is boring :P

Better still it coincided with Free Comic Book Day. AWESOME!!!

sadly only one person missed out, mother. It unfortunately fell on mothers day and both of us were away lewl. But everyday is mothers day :P

Flew Virgin Airlines this time, since they had a special back in feb when i bought it. Wow. i think i want to fly them every time. Budget and food. sweet.

Also I never flew is route inbound. The scenery was amazing! No harbour bridge or opera house but this was much nicer.

So we were honestly extremely surprised as to how long the line was. I wanted to go straight there from the airport but we took our time, since we literally had no other plans that day. Expect nice Thai food.

us being silly in line entertaining ourselves. should have heard the moan/groan when we were 1min from the front and the assassin creed free comic was "sold out" hahaha

THE LINE WENT AROUND THE BLOCK TWICE almost. 3hours of queuing and the above pic lewl. became super friendly with the people in front of us. was impressed as to how well orderly and civil it was though, and even more so that the children were so patient in line with their superhero outfits. cute.

didn't end up going to thai on the first day since the we were knackered to walk any further and sushi train was right next door. love watching them torch our food hahaah.
