Steampunk Exhibition at Tasma Terrace
wondering the city by myself and having solo outings lewl.
missing my adventure buddy *epic sadface*
including one of my all time favourites The Mysterious Explorations of Jasper Morello
second film - Aurora, first time watching it. I must say I did quite enjoy the editing and transitions. Just got to push past the noticeable green screen moments and enjoy the story. epic music though.
Incredible job for just $1800!! im impressed. Gotta love those Aussie accents too.

Quite time in an ironically busy restaurant of China Red, tucked away in between china town and bourke st.
Delving deep into Hosea and digging into dumplings.
Satisfying.
A nifty lunch spot. I would say half of the people were eating by themselves, being business men in their suits.

Headed to Steampunk Show at Tasma Terrace a National Trust Heritage site,
and just wow! The place is massive and the building itself was part of the exhibition experience.
Very clever location, definitely added to the atmosphere.
If i were to be raised in an alternate history, i will pick the steampunk timeline for sure.

An era of inventors, freedom fighters, clockwork logic, synergy and collaboration.
What more can you want? :P
For $7.50 it included entry into most of the building, had the fun of turning the lights on myself, since i guess i was the first one there for the day. Opening draws, cupboards and just general exploring.

It also included two australian films which i quite liked considering they don't have massive blockbuster budgets.

Late lunch at Ramen Ya, noticed recently that the wall art is entirely made of cheap-disposable-snapable- wooden-chopsticks stuck on via blue tac. Clever, if the chopsticks didn't start to call.
Delicious but not filling for $11.
I could eat five of these by myself. (i'm a big eater though)

I actually used to eat at that China Red because it was really close to one of my clients. They have really good shaolongbao, but everything else is kind of "dirty" in that cheap Chinese restaurant kind of way, if you get what I mean.
Ah yer, i only tried the shaolongbao. =]
