selection - the boot!

So its been ages since I've contemplated buying just ONE pair of boots that are supposed to last a lifetime, kinda like my gortex jacket purchase.

Yet i havent found a single comfortable one that i am satisfied with.
I am quiet perplexed since I do see many females wear boots and my brain just deduced that it must be comfortable. clearly not, since ive shopped around for the last few years and all feel like im walking on concrete.

Seeking: comfort, simplicity, water resistant, grip
