Decent weather this long weekend. Couldn't have been more grateful to having the ability to take the Monday off

I ate snails for the first time. had these weird claw-clamp device to hold the shell down and a snail two pronged fork to flick the meat out. Was chewy and i can only taste the green stuff they smeared on it. snail itself was plain and tough.

Very friendly and patience staff. since i make a mess when i eat. they kindly wiped away the crumbs in front of me each time lol. there were also two men that stood near the front of the entrance, elegantly dressed in suits n all; and all they seemed to be doing was making general conversation , blending in with the interior. lol i wondered if they were paid just to be there to make conversation with each other, adding to the atmosphere.

. Finished reading the Gospel of Mark with two girls from church. yay!! we started near the beginning of the year and now we've gone through all 16 chapters! Quite encouraging. Learnt heaps! I encourage anyone to pick it up and read it, it's quite short. And ask yourselves these three questions
1) Who is Jesus? (chapters 1-7 ish)
2) What was his mission/What did he come to do? (chapter 8! )
3) What does it mean to follow him?  (throughout, and more so near the end)
