Applications for Summer Block 2010 (4 January-31 January) radio programs
are now open. Applications close 20 December. All presenters wishing to
start a new program, or continue their existing program need to apply.

To apply, enter your membership details and fill out the form at
syn.org.au/apply.

Recording a 15 minute demo and saving to the 'Demo' folder in SYN's
'Production' drive is highly recommended to aid your application. Also, be
as thorough as possible as to your show's segments, direction, etc. It's
really easy to spot the best programs and the applications that will go on
to get a program, because their applications alone are impressive and
thorough

Really can't emphasise enough how much an original idea, well thought out
segments, etc, will put your application ahead of the pack. Something
novel like a show idea for an oranges and sandalwood scented candle-themed
program playing Afro-Cuban music will always standout

Keep you're ideas true to what you want to do, just be mindful if others
would be doing a similar program.
